6 tbsp. | Plant Based Cooking Creme Naturally Flavored |

8 tbsp. | Butter, Divided |
2/3 C | Flour |
1/4 C | Onion, Chopped |
4 C | Broccoli Florets (fresh Or Frozen), Cut Into Bite-sized Pieces |
6 C | Vegetable Broth |
6 tbsp. | Water |
1 tsp. | Salt |
1/4 tsp. | Pepper |
Directions

Combine the Plant Based Cooking Creme Naturally Flavored and water. Set aside. |

In a saucepan, over low heat, melt 6 tablespoons of butter. |

Add the flour and stir until blended, but do not brown. |

Remove from heat and set aside. |

In a large saucepan, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. |

Add the chopped onion and cook until tender. |

Add chopped broccoli, cook and stir for 6 minutes. |

Add the vegetable broth, increase heat and bring to a boil, whisking constantly. |

Add flour mixture, cook and stir until soup is thickened and bubbling. |

Remove half of the volume of soup from the pan and puree it in a blender or food processor. Add the pureed soup back into the pan. |

Stir in the Plant Based Cooking Creme Naturally Flavored and water mixture. |

Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve. |
